Though learnt about the $30 per head bottled water from some websites, am a bit surprised that they did not bother asking or telling us about it first. On the whole, think for $500 per head, (actually it should be $530 +10%) can get a very decent meal in town without the trouble of venturing to the remote industrial buildings in Chai wan. Don't think will go back again.

Disappointed
Heard about Le Mieux Bistro in Chai Wan and finally tried it out. Had very good first impression with the warm welcome from the manager, the warm bread basket and menu printed out on a pretty piece of paper with names on it.
Japanese sweet shrimp with cold tomato soup.
Sashimi of Whelk, swordfish, slow cooked salmon, abalone and scallop. The swordfish, salmon and scallop are sweet and full of flavor, as for the other two, it's a bit bland and don't have the natural sweetness of shellfish.
This is the best dish for the whole evening. Baked King prawn with Seafood moose, Australian spinach and tomato from Italy. All are very fresh and the flavours nicely blended together.
Duck breast(OK) and pork loin(very salty) with mesh potato(Yummy), tomato (low head baked for 6 hrs.), asparagus and pumpkin.
Coconut Penna Cotta, warm chocolate pudding with hazelnut sauce and passion fruit sorbet - waited for almost an hour for the dessert to appear - and only after we asked about it. Could not understand why it would take so long to make the dessert(2 out of 3 are from the fridge!), or maybe it's been overlooked because of a large table of "regulars" arrived just about then...

Sushi and cakes
Had a lovely lunch at Sushi Hiro. The lunch set of $250 for 16 pieces of sushi (maximum 2 Toro and 2 Uni) is really fresh and delicious. Forgot all about taking photos...
Finally walked pass Mandarin Cake shop and naturally could not resist the lovely cakes displayed in the glass case like jewels. The Chocolate Moose is very smooth and just the right sweetness. The chestnut cheese cake is a bit too rich and heavy. It's nice to just go and have a look (and not have any? almost impossible...)
