Had a great feat at Tin
Heung Lau. Heard about it for very long time and finally made a visit. First, it accepts credit card now(I heard it use to take cash only), it's a lot smaller than I expected and it's true that a lot of the items on the menu are without a price. Actually a lot of the famous are not on the menu.
Ordered some of the famous dishes : Stir-fried shrimp with
Longjing,
Malantou (馬蘭頭)- the tender leaves of Bolton
ia indica
(of the chrysanthemum family) with dried bean curd, and fried Medica
go(草頭).
The noodles with crab meat and roe is a dish definitely
can't be missed. It's so delicious that two big bowls are gone before taking photos. (Well, was too excited when the noodles arrived and forgot...)

Star of the meal - two giant hairy crabs. Nothing beats the meat and roe fresh from the crab.

Complimentary dessert -
fermented glutinous ri
ce with glutinous ri
ce balls in osmanthus
sweet soup. Nice balance of flavours, but would prefer it to be without banana...
And of course, true to the rumors, it
's very pricy
. But it's worth it for the quality of food and service you get.
