What Gender is Your Brain

Did it long time ago and the result was similar. Ha ha, guess there's no hope to become more feminine when even the brain isn't wired that way...

Your Brain is 47% Female, 53% Male

Your brain is a healthy mix of male and female
You are both sensitive and savvy
Rational and reasonable, you tend to keep level headed
But you also tend to wear your heart on your sleeve

Bonbon Cafe

Tried the small new Cafe in Tin Hau. It can only seat 12-14 people. All tables reserved when we arrived for lunch on the public holiday.

Delicious home made bread with thick tomato soup. The soup came in a small coffee cup, hot and thick and sour, very comforting. Maybe just a little heavy on the fennel...

Lamb rack ~ delicious but we both had problem cutting it ...maybe need a sharper knife.

Dessert or Coffee/tea with the Set Lunch. The coffee is very nice and the apple cheese cake with chocolate base is surprisingly good - the rich creamy cheese, apple and bitter chocolate base are a very nice mix. Pity we didn't get to try the chocolate cake, must be yummy.

Additional order~Meringue with kiwi and strawberry. Very light and tasty. The Meringue looked a bit like a porcupine.

We had set lunch which are of very good value. Saw th other table having Chef's special and looks delicious. Should go back for dinner and try more dishes.

Purple roses

Purple roses in full bloom.

Shangiri la

Alaska king Crab, Caviar with olive oil and lemon dressing ~ very refreshing and light starter.

Lemon sherbet~just right to clear the palate.

Pigeon consommé~the filling in the ravioli is very cheesy and yummy.

Australia tenderloin with abalone~interesting combination. The tenderloin is very juicy and tasty but a bit funny to be with abalone...the bake potato was very rich and creamy.

Chocolate mouse cake with fruit~a bit too sweet even though it's already been made "less sweet".

Sexy Spoon Menu

Spectacular harbour view from our window front seat.

Foie gras~smooth and creamy pate and though the steam Foie gras was tasty, would be even better if it's pan fried...
Baked Macaroni with wild mushroom, cheese and parma ham~perfect texture and blend of flavours.

Scallops~Fresh and succulent. As suggested by the waiter, it did taste best when mixing everything together - mash potato, sauce, vegetables and scallop.
Lamb~juicy and tender, very rich sauce and served in a modified Tagine.
Raspberry sorbet with chocolate & Raspberry mouse cake~my favorite type of dessert - dark chocolate and not too sweet.

A wonderful dinner, delicious food-from bread to coffee (though prefer the butter in Amber), great view, nice wine...should go and try the Sexy Sunset Menu later.

It's autumn again and time for snake soup. Fist bowl this year - of course from my favorite - Ser Wong Fun.

Hairy Crab 06

Can't wait to try the yummy hairy crab while in Shanghai in early September. As always, the crabs at 王寶和 are of very good quality.

Candy Heart

Your Candy Heart Says "Get Real"

You're a bit of a cynic when it comes to love.
You don't lose your head, and hardly anyone penetrates your heart.

Your ideal Valentine's Day date: is all about the person you're seeing (with no mentions of v-day!)

Your flirting style: honest and even slightly sarcastic

What turns you off: romantic expectations and "greeting card" holidays

Why you're hot: you don't just play hard to get - you are hard to get
